1. Wick Preparation - Do not trim the wick before lighting the candle for the first time. For subsequent burns, if needed, you may trim the wick to no less than 0.5 cm. If a 'mushroom' (buildup) appears at the end of the wick, gently remove it after the candle has cooled.
2. Preventing Tunneling - To prevent tunneling, burn the candle until the entire surface melts evenly. This is especially important during the first burn.
3. Optimal Burning Time - Shorter, more frequent burning sessions can help extend the overall burn time of your candle.
4. Scent Intensity - Our candles are highly scented, but prolonged burning may make the scent seem less intense as you acclimate to it. Additionally, extended burning can cause oils to release faster, making the fragrance less noticeable during subsequent uses.
5. Safety Precautions - Stop burning the candle when you can see the bottom of the jar through the melted wax; burning with too little wax left may cause the jar to crack.
6. Storage and Use Conditions - Burn candles at room temperature. Low temperatures can slow down the burn rate, while high temperatures may cause excess wax melting and premature fragrance release. Store candles in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing candles near fans, air conditioners, or fireplaces to ensure an even flame. Always place the candle on a flat, stable surface, away from flammable materials (such as curtains).
Following these guidelines will help your candle burn longer, maintain a strong scent, and allow you to enjoy its magic safely!
